Origin: a Latin derivative
meaning "Gift of the Earth."
A grassroots charity with a big vision, Blue Dragon works not only to reduce human trafficking, but to end it. And it all starts with believing in this mission.
In 2005, Blue Dragon rescued their first child, trafficked for labour exploitation in Vietnam. Two years later, they rescued six girls from a brothel in China.
Since then, they’ve been learning each day what they are capable of and are currently making a much bigger impact for the children of Vietnam.
Wrap Around Services
Human trafficking affects every province of Vietnam. But to stop it, there’s no one-size fits all approach.
Location by location, Blue Dragon addresses the issues that cause human trafficking with holistic, wrap-around services.
Interventions include:
Working on the ground with the charity Blue Dragon in the aftermath of Typhoon Yagi, dōTERRA Healing Hands Foundation AUNZ was able to provide emergency relief and raise $20,000 AUD for the people devastated by this tragic natural disaster through the Typhoon Yagi Appeal, with $10,000 AUD going directly to Blue Dragon.
We are so proud to walk beside Blue Dragon and the people of Vietnam and help them achieve their mission of putting an end to the scourge of human trafficking.
