Charity Partner - Women's Refuge

Women’s Refuge is New Zealand’s largest nation-wide organisation that supports and helps women and children experiencing family violence. Their vision is for all women and children in New Zealand to live free from domestic and family violence.

The doTERRA Healing Hands Foundation AUNZ has been supporting Women’s Refuge to expand their Shielded Site Program, which is a tool for victims of abuse to ask for help, without fear of it showing up in their browser history or an abusive partner ever seeing it. A simple icon can sit on any website and launch a powerful resource to help end domestic violence.

Like so many people impacted by domestic abuse, making contact with someone who can help can be dangerous if an abusive partner finds out. By supporting the Shielded Site Program we're helping to make a simple desktop icon a portal to freedom – shielding browser history from abusers and giving power and control back to those who need it.​

The doTERRA Healing Hands Foundation AUNZ have supported Women’s Refuge to enhance and grow the reach of Shielded Site to more than 600 websites across New Zealand.
