Nighttime Face Mask with Essential Oils


We all have different skin types, but all skin deserves to be pampered.  Regardless of your skin type, show it some extra love at night with this face mask enhanced with essential oils. This DIY face mask recipe includes a powerful trio of calming and soothing aromas: Lavender oil, Roman Chamomile oil, and Blue Tansy oil.  This essential oil combination creates a calming atmosphere and sets the stage for a relaxing evening of skincare. All the while, Lavender essential oil moisturizes and soothes the skin and Blue Tansy essential oil works hard to promote a youthful and radiant complexion. Adding this simple face mask to your nighttime routine is the ideal way to end your day and giving your skin the sweet reward of soothing. 

Supplies

  • 2 teaspoons bentonite clay
  • 2 teaspoons aloe vera gel
  • 1 drop Lavender essential oil
  • 1 drop Roman Chamomile essential oil
  • 1 drop Blue Tansy essential oil

Instructions

  1. Combine clay and aloe vera gel in bowl and stir until well combined. For a thicker mask, add an additional teaspoon of clay.
  2. Add essential oils.
  3. Apply to clean skin, avoiding the areas around eyes and mouth.
  4. Let sit for 5–15 minutes.
  5. Rinse with warm water and follow with moisturizer.
