Made in a Minute: On Guard
If you’re anything like us, you find yourself in need of a little extra soap and cleaning supplies lately. With just one bottle of On Guard and four minutes of your day, you can whip together these four recipes for On Guard essential oil cleansing hand gel, hand spray, foaming hand wash, and surface wipes. On Guard essential oil’s naturally sourced cleansing properties make it a no-brainer addition to make all of these recipes just as effective as they are simple!

ON GUARD HAND GEL
Supplies
- 5 tbsp Aloe Vera gel (add more if desired)
- 4 tbsp hot water
- 15 drops On Guard®
- 2/3 cup rubbing alcohol (optional)
- Container of choice
Instructions
- In a small mixing bowl, combine gel, water, On Guard, and rubbing alcohol.
- Transfer hand gel mixture to container of choice.
Gently rub a drop into your hands whenever you need an extra dose of clean.
ON GUARD HAND SPRAY
Supplies
- ¼ tsp Vitamin E oil
- 8-10 drops On Guard®
- Top off with water
- 30 mL spray bottle
Instructions
- In the spray bottle, combine all ingredients.
- Replace the cap and gently shake to combine.
Give your hands a spritz while out and about!
FOAMING HAND SOAP
Supplies
- 3 cups water
- ¾ cup pure castile soap
- 8-10 drops On Guard®
- 15 drops Wild Orange
- 15 drops Lemon
- Foaming dispenser of choice (try our On Guard Foaming Hand Wash Dispenser)
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a large mixing bowl and gently stir to combine.
- Transfer to your foaming dispenser.
Pump a small amount onto hands and lather with water. Wash for twenty seconds, then rinse thoroughly.
ON GUARD® WIPES
Supplies
- 2 tbsp Aloe Vera gel
- 1 ½ cup rubbing alcohol (optional)
- 15 drops On Guard®
- 15 drops Lemon
- Dry wipes or reusable towels
- Airtight container of choice
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a medium mixing bowl.
- Place wipes or reusable towels in the container.
- Pour the mixture evenly over the top of the wipes or towels. Replace lid of container and allow wipes to absorb the cleaning solution.
Pull out a wipe anytime your surface needs cleansing—whether in your home or out and about.
