The only thing worse than unpleasant odors around your clothes is trying to mask those odors with synthetic fresheners. Many of those options are ineffective at best and can even saturate your clothing with sicky-sweet fragrances that are worse than when you started. So, for a naturally sourced (and more effective) alternative, try an ultra-easy sachet deodorizer using essential oils! We choose to use Cedarwood essential oil, both for its fresh, woody aroma and innate ability to dispel unpleasant odors.
Don’t have Cedarwood oil on hand? Here are some other suggestions: Wild Orange oil, Grapefruit oil, Siberian Fir oil, Wintergreen oil, or Lavender oil.
