doTERRA Serenity and Balance Bath Salts

There’s no better way to self-pamper than with a relaxing bath. Incorporate the peaceful and grounding aromas of doTERRA Serenity and Balance to enhance your soothing soak with this recipe for bath salts. 

SUPPLIES

• 2 cups unscented Epsom salts
• ¼ cup coconut oil
• 5 drops each doTERRA Serenity and Balance essential oil blends
• Optional: ¼ cup dried lavender botanicals

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Combine Epsom salts, coconut oil, and doTERRA Serenity and Balance essential oils. Stir well.
2. Store in a container of your choice.
3. Draw a warm bath and add ½ cup of bath salts to the tub, then breathe deeply and unwind in your cozy bath! 

doTERRA Serenity and Balance Laundry Detergent 

After relaxing in the bath, slip into soft pajamas and bedsheets gently infused with the same fragrances. Using this recipe as your regular laundry detergent will ensure that your sheets and clothes already carry these calming aromas whenever you’re ready to turn in. 

SUPPLIES

• 5 cups hot water
• ¾ cup super-washing soda 
• ¼ cup baking soda
• ½ cup unscented liquid Castile soap
• 5 drops each doTERRA Serenity and Balance essential oil blends

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Bring 5 cups of water to a near-boil on the stove and remove from the heat. 
2. Combine 3 cups of hot water with baking soda and washing soda and stir until completely dissolved. 
3. Add the liquid Castile soap and stir until well combined. 
4. Slowly add the last 2 cups of hot water for an even mix, then let cool to room temperature. 
5. Store in an easy-pour container and shake gently before each use. Use 1/3 cup of detergent per laundry load.
