What is Cinnamon Bark oil?

The cinnamon tree, Cinnamomum verum, is a small evergreen tree, native to Sri Lanka. The leaves of the tree are ovate and oblong in shape and turn from red to green as they mature. The tree has greenish, yellow flowers, clustered together and also produces fruit. The highly fragrant bark of the tree is steam distilled and made into Cinnamon Bark essential oil.
