Spanish Sage, Salvia lavandulifolia, is a small evergreen native to Spain and southern France. This shrub grows in rocky soil and sports narrow, white-ish gray leaves that produce a rosemary-like aroma when rubbed. It also produces long, pale lavender flowers that bloom for a month in late the spring to early summer. doTERRA steam distills the leaves and stems to produce Spanish Sage essential oil.
The warm aroma of Spanish Sage blends well with Clary Sage oil, Geranium oil, Ginger oil, Lavender oil, Vetiver oil, and Rosemary oil.
