Forbes Ranks dōTERRA No.10 as America’s Best Employers of 2016
March 30, 2016
Salt Lake City – March 30, 2016 – doTERRA has been named one of “America’s Best Employers” by Forbes magazine, adding to a prestigious list of similar accolades received by the company and its employees. doTERRA is listed at No. 10 of the top 250 midsize employers nationally, which also positions it as the best employer in the packaged goods category.
The companies on the Forbes lists of best midsize and large employers were chosen based on an independent survey among a sample of 30,000 American employees working for large or midsize companies or institutions. The survey was conducted on companies from all industry sectors employing more than 1,000 workers in the United States. The willingness to recommend one’s own employer to someone else was used as the most important factor in the assessment. A secondary dimension to the assessment involved asking employees to mention good or bad employers in sectors and industries beside their own.
“doTERRA is more than a growing company of Wellness Advocates and employees. We are a family. We appreciate this recognition from Forbes as it is a reflection of the environment we work to cultivate in every aspect of the business,” said David Stirling, doTERRA Founding Executive, CEO & President. “This selection, based on our employees feeling inspired, secure, understood, and needed, is aligned with our values company wide. As we grow, we will continue to build on our unique culture by retaining and rewarding the best and most passionate employees to support our ever growing number of Wellness Advocates who educate about our products every day.”

About the Forbes America’s Best Employers List Methodology:
Now in its second year, the Forbes ranking of America’s Best Employers is drawn from an online survey of more than 30,000 employees at companies with at least 1,000 people. The survey was conducted with global digital data collection partners who use innovative technology and proven sampling methodologies to facilitate a deep understanding of consumer opinions and behavior. Participation in the survey was voluntary, and respondents were recruited from thousands of sources to maximize reach and representation. The mix of respondents (gender, age, region, and ethnicity) in the sample represents American employees. Each employee surveyed was asked to rank both his own employer and other employers in the same industry sector.
