Kirk Jowers joined doTERRA in 2015, where he was instrumental in guiding the company’s expansion and success across Europe, Middle East, and Africa, serving on the company’s executive committee, and leading the company’s international, public, corporate, and government relations. He then held the position of President of doTERRA’s North America markets, where he spearheaded numerous initiatives and achieved significant milestones.
Prior to working with doTERRA, Kirk served as chief advisor to the University of Utah’s Office of Global Engagement, director of federal relations, co-director of the Middle East Institute, and director of the Hinckley Institute of Politics. He also has served on more than 25 boards and committees, including as a founder of Count My Vote and Real Women Run, Chairman and General Counsel of Mitt Romney’s Commonwealth PACs, and a member of Utah Governor Herbert’s Advisory Team. As a partner in the Washington, DC law firm of Caplin & Drysdale, Kirk provided legal and political advice to political parties, more than 30 congressional and gubernatorial candidates, Fortune 500 corporations, non-profit organizations, and five presidential campaigns.
As doTERRA’s first non-founder CEO, Kirk puts his whole heart into building on the foundation that the founders have laid and continuing doTERRA’s world changing vision, mission, and purpose.
A noted lecturer, commentator, and author, Kirk is a University of Utah and Harvard Law School graduate. Kirk enjoys spending time with his wife Kristen and their five children.
Since joining doTERRA in 2014, Murray has worked in several key roles, including Vice President of Europe, President of EMEA, and Executive Vice President of International. He and his wife Heidi lived in Salzburg, Austria and Munich, Germany for doTERRA, where for a combined 5 years, Murray focused on developing strong teams in the younger markets.
Prior to doTERRA, he held key leadership positions at several companies that always focused on people and achieving success. His significant depth of knowledge across multiple functions has elevated his focus in helping doTERRA accomplish its objective of Tripling its Impact by 2030. In his current role as President of doTERRA, Murray enjoys engaging with doTERRA markets all around the world to help and support their success. His strategic approach to partnering closely with Wellness Advocates has been instrumental in fostering growth across doTERRA markets.
He graduated from Brigham Young University with an MBA. Murray loves spending time with his wife Heidi, their 4 kids, and 6 grandchildren.
Being fully immersed in the global essential oils market since the mid-90s has given Emily a unique perspective that fuels her passion for empowering people on both sides of the bottle. As a doTERRA Founding Executive and Chair of the Board, Emily loves creating intentional connections and unifying teams for a common cause. She is a champion of doTERRA’s business model, which focuses on providing tools to help nurture physical and emotional wellbeing while helping people reach their personal goals.
Emily has a relentless desire to source the world’s most pure and potent essential oils while lifting communities in the areas where they are sourced. She puts her whole heart into doTERRA’s purpose of helping the world heal.
She and her husband, Korey, are the parents of four beautiful children and three adorable grandchildren. They are her pride and joy.
With a career that spans nearly three decades, Greg is a seasoned business executive supported by a global network. Since doTERRA’s inception, Greg’s unique ability to push past limitations has guided his strategic planning contributions and heartfelt giving throughout the company’s history.
Greg has been, and continues to be, vital in establishing doTERRA’s global footprint in business and philanthropy. He has lived and worked in Africa, Europe, North America, and Asia.
Greg received a bachelor’s degree in international relations from Brigham Young University. He serves the community by sitting on several boards. Among his many interests, he finds the most joy in spending time with his wife Julie, their five children, children’s spouses, and grandchildren.
As one of doTERRA’s founding executives and former general counsel, Mark has been instrumental in pursuing pure products, pure business practices, pure intentions, and most importantly—the pure love of humanity. While leading with his sharp mind and kind heart, Mark has mentored thousands of doTERRA employees and Wellness Advocates to reach beyond their comfort zones to serve others.
As the executive founder overseeing doTERRA Healing Hands™, he guides the mission of empowering people and communities worldwide to make positive and sustainable change and become self-reliant. Mark is always most excited about supporting Wellness Advocates who are finding ways to engage in good in their own communities through doTERRA Healing Hands partner projects.
Mark and his wife Carol are the parents of five children who share his passion for encouraging others to be their best selves.
For many years, Dr. David Hill has utilized the benefits of essential oils in modern health practices as a physician. He is well-known throughout the world as an expert in essential oils and integrative medicine. Dr. Hill partners with physicians, scientists, and hospitals around the world, defining and establishing the medical integration and use of essential oils in modern health practices for individual use.
He guides advances in essential oil science through a number of top university and research affiliations, providing more in-depth understanding for essential oils and their use. He is a frequent guest on many radio and televisions shows and has authored a number of books and other publications. Dr. Hill’s greatest joy is found in educating and empowering others and his family to take control of their own health.
As the chief marketing officer of doTERRA, Andrew directs product development, leads marketing efforts, and manages doTERRA studio: the in-house branding agency that’s responsible for key customer touchpoints across print, web, digital, and social media.
Prior to joining doTERRA, Andrew served as vice president of a billion-dollar health and beauty company, where he managed strategy and digital—even working as the lead technology executive. Andrew also directed the company’s nonprofit and was involved with many charitable initiatives.
Andrew previously held consulting positions across the world. He has a bachelor’s degree in international business. Andrew and his wife, Victoria, are parents to five children.
Drew was one of the first doTERRA employees in 2008. He eventually moved on to work for PricewaterhouseCoopers, a financial group in New York City. But as doTERRA continued growing, Drew returned and became the corporate treasurer, critically helping doTERRA manage and forecast cashflow as it experienced rapid growth.
Drew’s responsibilities greatly expanded as he established and managed the Corporate Development and Strategy team, helping the company grow and remain profitable through internal and external strategic initiatives. Drew also served as the general manager of doTERRA Europe Central and was integral in opening and building the office and region. In January 2020, Drew became the chief financial officer of doTERRA.
Drew received a bachelor’s and master’s in accounting from the Brigham Young University Marriott School of Business. He’s also a licensed CPA in New York and Utah.
Drew attributes his success to his mentors—especially Corey Lindley—who taught and guided him throughout his years at doTERRA. Having been with the company since the beginning, Drew is acquainted with nearly every business function and will play a key role in its continued growth and expansion.
Todd is a business and technology leader with extensive experience leading change in successful companies. He’s served as chief information officer at JetBlue Airways, Starwood Hotels, Vivint, and doTERRA.
At JetBlue, Todd developed the team and implemented the technology that allowed the company to grow into a major airline. He also introduced industry-leading kiosks and online check-ins. At Starwood, Todd led the IT team that created the industry’s first service-oriented architecture (SOA) reservation system and used that system to enable strategic business initiatives like CRM, sales, and revenue management. At Vivint, Todd transformed the IT team and technology in HR, CRM, and billing.
Todd is the chairman of the board of directors for United Angels Foundation, which serves individuals with special needs. He’s been a board member for DCI (technology solutions for hotels), Hotel Technology Next Generation (HTNG), Elm Resources (student loan processing), and STAR Inc. (special needs).
Early in his career, Todd led consulting practices for SBI, Razorfish, and Arthur Andersen Business Consulting. He was an IT director at Nu Skin and became a senior consultant for Arthur Andersen. Todd has more than 30 years of IT experience, particularly in technology, business processes, and project and program management.
Todd received a bachelor’s in computer science in 1992 and master’s in business administration in 1999—both from Brigham Young University, Provo. He lives in Provo with his wife, Julie, and six children.
Shannon joined the doTERRA family in 2013, bringing over a decade of experience in direct sales, events, and recognition management. Since joining doTERRA, she’s helped develop recognition and leadership services strategies, initiatives, and processes to support business, events, and leadership growth. She recently became part of the Executive team.
Shannon loves working with internal doTERRA teams, as well as field leaders. Shannon is passionate about providing outstanding leadership support and innovative customer experiences in all aspects of the business.
Sean Poynter, as senior vice president of operations at doTERRA, is responsible for global supply chain operations, including planning, sourcing, manufacturing, and delivery. Sean joined doTERRA in 2010, serving as vice president of finance and operations during his first four years with the company.
Prior to joining doTERRA, Sean held various executive roles, overseeing corporate strategy, finance, supply chains, and international development. In these roles, Sean spent up to 50% of his time in Asia, focusing on business infrastructure development. Earlier in his career, Sean worked with two of the world’s largest public accounting firms, during which he primarily advised manufacturing and technology companies.
Sean received a master’s degree from the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University, Provo. While he’s originally from the Northern California Bay Area, he and his family have lived in Utah for over 25 years. They love Utah for its skiing, mountain biking, and hiking, as well as the business- and family-friendly culture.
Jared’s extensive expertise in the essential oil industry, market development, marketing, and global logistics is invaluable to doTERRA. A graduate of Brigham Young University Marriott School of Business, Jared has been with doTERRA since 2010. He first served as the founding general manager at doTERRA Australia, establishing the Melbourne office before continuing his professional career as the first-ever general manager of doTERRA Canada and (most recently) vice president of doTERRA Europe.
Having driven growth across Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and Europe, Jared is excited to build upon the existing success in North America and foster new waves of growth. Jared is passionate about doTERRA products and committed to initiatives like Co-Impact Sourcing® and doTERRA Healing Hands. He says, “My vision is to give others the opportunity to see our sourcing in action and show our dedication to helping individuals, families, and communities live their best lives.”
Jared and his wife, Katie, have four children, and together they enjoy discovering new adventures, places, and people.
Mark Wolfert Jr. is the chief of staff to CEO Kirk Jowers. In his role, Mark directs and oversees doTERRA strategy, which includes a relentless focus on implementing the vision of the Founding Executives and key strategic initiatives throughout the company. Since joining doTERRA in 2018, Mark has served as the director of corporate development and the FP&A team. He focused on creating a vertically integrated sustainable supply chain, ensuring doTERRA has the purest, most efficacious essential oils in the world.
Prior to working for doTERRA, Mark was a public accountant for Deloitte, located in the San Francisco Bay Area. Mark received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from Brigham Young University. Essential oils, health, and exercise are daily elements of Mark’s life, and he’s excited to be part of the continual growth of doTERRA. Mark enjoys golfing, riding his peloton, and being a dad for his daughter.
