How do I qualify for the sourcing trip?

When does the contest begin and end?
The Sourcing Trip qualifications run from March 1, 2023–June 30, 2023

Where will the 2023 Sourcing Trip be located?
The 2023 Sourcing Trip will take you to the Boreal Forest of Quebec and our Black Spruce distillation facility, located in Chapais. Accommodations will be at Chibougamau, Quebec.

When is the trip?
The trip will take place Thursday, August 17—Saturday, August 19, 2023 (2 night/2 days)

What is included when I win my spot on the trip?
Initial travel and flights to Quebec province will be the responsibility of the participant. Once you’ve arrived, transportation, food, and hotel expenses will be covered by doTERRA as a part of your prize. More details will be made available nearer the time of the trip.

If I qualify and want my family to come too, can I pay their way on the trip?
No, unfortunately the maximum capacity is limited at 100 due to the location and logistics of this particular trip. However, the top 20 winners will be able to bring a guest with them.

How frequently will the rank status be updated online?
Standings will be updated once a week beginning April, 2023. Please visit the Eligibility and Points page of this site.

Can I participate if I am based in another market?
No, this trip is only open to the Canada Market.

When will the winners be notified?
Winners will be announced to later than the July 17, 2023.

How do I register for the trip?
Shortly after the winners are announced, you will receive an email with a link to a registration website. Please complete all the information in a very timely manner, you will be given a deadline. It’s important that you complete your registration on time.

Will I get my own room on the trip?
Due to limited lodging capacities at the site of the trip, participants will be asked to share a hotel room. Winners will be able to communicate rooming preferences via your registration survey. More details will become available nearer the time of the trip.

If I want to buy tickets to the Incentive Trip, can I book directly with the hotel?
Attendees won’t be permitted into doTERRA private events if they’ve booked directly with the hotel. Only those who purchase their trip through doTERRA will be invited.

Will I be able to receive a different award if I earn a spot on the Sourcing Trip but am unable to attend?
No, prizes cannot be redeemed for cash or points.

If I’m unable to attend and want to gift my prize to someone else, what should I do?
Prizes may be gifted to whomever the winner chooses, as long as the recipient is a doTERRA Canada Wellness Advocate within their team.

Winners are responsible for handling the gifting of the trip and must notify doTERRA (canadasourcingtrip@doterra.com) prior to the deadlines.

• Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash or points. Awards must be gifted and new participant must be registered by August 1, 2023, by 12:00 p.m. MT (no exceptions will be made).
• No changes to registration can be made after August 1, 2023, by 12:00 p.m. MT

If I’m unable to attend but don’t want to gift my prize to someone else, whom should I inform?
If you can’t attend the trip and choose not to gift your prize, please also notify doTERRA ((canadasourcingtrip@doterra.com) ) and prior to August 1, 2023, by 12:00 p.m. MT.

If I want to purchase the trip, can I book directly with the hotel?
No attendees will be permitted into the doTERRA private events if they are booked direct with the hotel, only those who purchase their trip through doTERRA will be invited.

Will I be able to receive a different award if I earn a spot on the trip but am unable to attend?
No, you will not be able to receive any additional prize related to the Sourcing Trip, however, any points you earned for Sourcing Trip qualification will still be counted toward your qualification for Incentive Trip 2024! Plus, you will still receive your respective product prize packages for your Sourcing Trip point-earning milestones.

If I don’t qualify for the trip but still want to attend, can I pay my own way?
No, due to the limited capacity, no buy-in option will be made available for this Sourcing Trip.

Do the points I earn for the sourcing trip also count toward my Incentive Trip 2024 qualification?
Yes! Both the Canada Sourcing Trip and Incentive Trip 2024 share the same point-earning requirements and have overlapping qualification periods, so any points earned toward the Sourcing Trip will also be counted toward your Incentive Trip eligibility.
