Kirk Jowers joined doTERRA in 2015, where he was instrumental in guiding the company’s expansion and success across Europe, Middle East, and Africa, serving on the company’s executive committee, and leading the company’s international, public, corporate, and government relations. He then held the position of President of doTERRA’s North America markets, where he spearheaded numerous initiatives and achieved significant milestones.
Prior to working with doTERRA, Kirk served as chief advisor to the University of Utah’s Office of Global Engagement, director of federal relations, co-director of the Middle East Institute, and director of the Hinckley Institute of Politics. He also has served on more than 25 boards and committees, including as a founder of Count My Vote and Real Women Run, Chairman and General Counsel of Mitt Romney’s Commonwealth PACs, and a member of Utah Governor Herbert’s Advisory Team. As a partner in the Washington, DC law firm of Caplin & Drysdale, Kirk provided legal and political advice to political parties, more than 30 congressional and gubernatorial candidates, Fortune 500 corporations, non-profit organizations, and five presidential campaigns.
As doTERRA’s first non-founder CEO, Kirk puts his whole heart into building on the foundation that the founders have laid and continuing doTERRA’s world changing vision, mission, and purpose.
A noted lecturer, commentator, and author, Kirk is a University of Utah and Harvard Law School graduate. Kirk enjoys spending time with his wife Kristen and their five children.
Since joining doTERRA in 2014, Murray has worked in several key roles, including Vice President of Europe, President of EMEA, and Executive Vice President of International. He and his wife Heidi lived in Salzburg, Austria and Munich, Germany for doTERRA, where for a combined 5 years, Murray focused on developing strong teams in the younger markets.
Prior to doTERRA, he held key leadership positions at several companies that always focused on people and achieving success. His significant depth of knowledge across multiple functions has elevated his focus in helping doTERRA accomplish its objective of Tripling its Impact by 2030. In his current role as President of doTERRA, Murray enjoys engaging with doTERRA markets all around the world to help and support their success. His strategic approach to partnering closely with Wellness Advocates has been instrumental in fostering growth across doTERRA markets.
He graduated from Brigham Young University with an MBA. Murray loves spending time with his wife Heidi, their 4 kids, and 6 grandchildren.
Drew was one of the first doTERRA employees in 2008. He eventually moved on to work for PricewaterhouseCoopers, a financial group in New York City. But as doTERRA continued growing, Drew returned and became the corporate treasurer, critically helping doTERRA manage and forecast cashflow as it experienced rapid growth.
Drew’s responsibilities greatly expanded as he established and managed the Corporate Development and Strategy team, helping the company grow and remain profitable through internal and external strategic initiatives. Drew also served as the general manager of doTERRA Europe Central and was integral in opening and building the office and region. In January 2020, Drew became the chief financial officer of doTERRA.
Drew received a bachelor’s and master’s in accounting from the Brigham Young University Marriott School of Business. He’s also a licensed CPA in New York and Utah.
Drew attributes his success to his mentors—especially Corey Lindley—who taught and guided him throughout his years at doTERRA. Having been with the company since the beginning, Drew is acquainted with nearly every business function and will play a key role in its continued growth and expansion.
Shannon joined the doTERRA family in 2013, bringing over a decade of experience in direct sales, events, and recognition management. Since joining doTERRA, she’s helped develop recognition and leadership services strategies, initiatives, and processes to support business, events, and leadership growth. She recently became part of the Executive team.
Shannon loves working with internal doTERRA teams, as well as field leaders. Shannon is passionate about providing outstanding leadership support and innovative customer experiences in all aspects of the business.
Mark Wolfert Jr. is the chief of staff to CEO Corey Lindley. In his role, Mark directs and oversees doTERRA strategy, which includes a relentless focus on implementing the vision of the Founding Executives and key strategic initiatives throughout the company. Since joining doTERRA in 2018, Mark has served as the director of corporate development and the FP&A team. He focused on creating a vertically integrated sustainable supply chain, ensuring doTERRA has the purest, most efficacious essential oils in the world.
Prior to working for doTERRA, Mark was a public accountant for Deloitte, located in the San Francisco Bay Area. Mark received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from Brigham Young University. Essential oils, health, and exercise are daily elements of Mark’s life, and he’s excited to be part of the continual growth of doTERRA. Mark enjoys golfing, riding his peloton, and being a dad for his daughter.
Dr. Russell Osguthorpe currently serves as chief medical officer at doTERRA. He’s establishing a network of primary care clinics focused on wellness and prevention through integrative, evidence-based medical practices. He’s also researching the use of essential oils in healthcare settings.
Dr. Osguthorpe received his medical degree from the McGill University School of Medicine, completed his residency at the Children’s Hospital in Denver, Colorado, and pediatric infectious diseases fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine.
David Doxey is doTERRA’s General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. Since joining doTERRA, in 2011, David has had broad responsibilities over all legal matters, including the legal work to open many of the company’s markets. His attention now focuses on management, major business initiatives, tax and corporate structuring, litigation, corporate governance, and essential oil sourcing.
Prior to joining doTERRA, David practiced law in both public and private sectors and represented governmental agencies, private companies, and individuals in complex litigation, transactional, and administrative matters. He tried over fifty jury trials to verdict.
David received a Bachelor of Arts from Brigham Young University in Economics and his Juris Doctor from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University. He is married to Leslie Bertoch and his greatest enjoyment is being with Leslie and their four children and grandchildren.
Misty Bond is the Vice President of Corporate Relations & Philanthropy at doTERRA, working to bring doTERRA’s life-changing mission and co-impact initiatives to life. Misty began her career working for USANA Health Sciences, producing segments on The Dr. Oz Show. She then took a position with Owlet Baby Care, supporting babies' wellbeing, helping parents gain peace of mind, and fundraising to provide free or reduced-cost baby monitors to those in need. She most recently worked for Purple Innovations, where she began a sleep advisory council to educate families about the importance of sleep and helped fundraise tens of thousands of dollars for Precious Dreams, a nonprofit organization that provides children in foster care and homeless shelters with sleep and mental health support.
She is grateful for the millions of doTERRA Wellness Advocates who are passionate about supporting the underserved communities in which doTERRA sources its essential oils through the doTERRA Healing Hands Foundation. She enjoys telling the impactful stories of leaders who are shaping the company and helping the world heal.
In her spare time, Misty serves on boards and supports service projects throughout the community.
As Senior Vice President of Human Resources (HR) for doTERRA, Chris Farnsworth oversees the human resources department in service of doTERRA’s 4,000 global employees and partners with the CEO in driving the company’s organizational and talent strategy.
Prior to joining doTERRA, Chris was an HR Director with Procter and Gamble with assignments in Cincinnati, Ohio, and Sacramento, California. Chris earned an MBA from BYU’s Marriot School of Business with an emphasis in Organizational Behavior and Human Resources (OBHR). While in school, he was recognized as a Hawes Scholar for his academic achievements and leadership. Prior to Business School, Chris spent three years as a Licensed Investment Broker for Fidelity Investments in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with his family (wife Brooke and six – yes six! – daughters), enjoying the great outdoors, playing the guitar, and cheering on his beloved Utah Jazz.
With two decades of industry experience, Jared Auger’s commitment to empowering and serving others has played a key role in his professional journey and has magnified his efforts to help establish doTERRA as the world’s largest essential oil company.
As the first General Manager of doTERRA Australia, Jared established the Melbourne office and fostered the early growth of the Australia and New Zealand markets. He continued his professional career as the first General Manager of doTERRA Canada, Managing Director and Vice President of Europe, and most recently as Executive Vice President of North America. In his new role as Executive Vice President of Education, Jared has assembled a world-class team of medical professionals and doTERRA product experts which have been assigned to educate and carry the message of essential oils and foundational wellness globally.
Jared remains dedicated to the doTERRA business model and to empowering more individuals and families to take charge of their well-being through daily use of doTERRA essential oils and wellness products. Jared and his wife, Katie, have four children and together they enjoy creating new adventures (mostly in cheerleading, basketball, and baseball nowadays), experiencing new places, and growing closer together as a family.
