The mission of the doTERRA Healing Hands Foundation™ is to provide every family, individual, and community in the world with health and prosperity. Wellness Advocates may submit projects they are sponsoring through our Request Support form for consideration to receive a donation to assist them with their project.
Wellness Advocate Projects:
Corinna Barrus, Senegal Health Institute
Corinna Barrus along with others teamed up to raise $25,000 which was matched by the Healing Hands Foundation™ for a total of $50,000 to be used in the construction of a community classroom and volunteer housing in Senegal, Africa. This combined with a medical clinic provides much needed help for communities in the area to receive medical assistance, birth services, and help with other service projects.
Jim Hicks, Cameroon Water Project
Jim Hicks, president of Thirst Relief International, has completed clean water projects all over the world. Through two donations of $10,000 each from the Healing Hands Foundation, Thirst Relief International has been able to provide new BioSand Water Filters in Africa for clean water.
Jamie Dellesky, Tanzania Birth Clinic
Jamie and Teddy Dellesky and their family relocated to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, to create and sustain a safe and free birth clinic. Thanks to a $10,000 donation from the Healing Hands Foundation, they were able to acquire and furnish a house that is dedicated to the care of mothers and babies in Tanzania.
Tricia Hoffman, Liberia Stay Alive Reach the Children
Tricia Hoffman works closely with the Reach the Children Stay Alive HIV/AIDS Prevention Education Program, which provides underprivileged children opportunities to become self-reliant by strengthening families and communities in countries throughout the world. Thanks to a $10,000 donation from the Healing Hands Foundation, this program gave over 22,000 students in Liberia the chance to be taught this program in schools, churches, and communities.
Betsy Holmes, Zambia & South Africa Project
Betsy Holmes and her team routinely gather oils together and go on mission trips to share the oils in Africa and other locations throughout the world. She recently officially organized a charity called "giveoils.org." The dōTERRA Healing Hands Foundation donated $10,000 worth of essential oils to Betsy’s projects in Africa. The oils that were donated went to the caretakers of 170 orphans in the area of Twapia, Zambia; a Leper Colony in Kasempa, Zambia; and an orphanage for abandoned babies in South Africa.
Deborah Gardner, One Heart Bulgaria Project
Deborah Gardner and her team at One Heart Bulgaria have been a part of many humanitarian projects in Bulgarian orphanages for the last 15 years. Thanks to a $10,000 donation from the Healing Hands Foundation, a small apartment complex will be built for orphans who are aging out of the normal system and will be homeless. It will take more than six months to get this project off the ground. The donation will be included with additional funds raised to start the project.
