Make 2019 your year!


How has 2019 started for you? If you are like me, you’ve set some serious goals you want to achieve in 2019, but don’t know where to start. It may not be easy but this is where you can challenge yourself and step out of your comfort zone. To get you started, here are some handy tips on how to keep you moving forward, own 2019 and make this year your year!
 
  1. Write it down - with a good ol’ fashioned pen and paper, make notes of what your 2019 goals are and an action plan to help you. No matter how big or small, writing down your goals makes them real and will keep you on track. Track your progress and hold yourself accountable for any mistakes or achievements. Refer to the New Year, New You booklet to be the best you!
     
  2. Start small - Rome wasn’t built in a day. You may have some big goals you want to achieve but this may take some time. Break it down into smaller tasks which you can handle and won’t have you pulling your hair out. You are more likely to succeed if you take time working your way to the top. Slowly but surely you will start to make progress.

  5. Track your progress - remember those goals you wrote down? It’s time to revisit them to see how you’re travelling. Create a little time for yourself each week to track your progress. Celebrate the wins, whether big or small. Analyse what needs more work and revisit your daily routine so you know what you are working towards. This will help strengthen not only your work ethic but also your confidence and in return help you achieve those goals.
