Charity Partner - Friends with Dignity

Friends with Dignity focuses on improving the quality of life of any adult and child impacted by domestic violence through the provision of financial and tangible resources, programs and scholarships and enhancing the personal safety of individuals.

One of the key goals of Friends with Dignity is to support children in domestic and family violence affected environments to go on and live happy, healthy and inclusive lives. The Little Friends Scholarship was established to ensure all children have the ability to either further their education and/or be able to participate in extra-curricular activities that they may not be able to pursue due to the financial impact of domestic and family violence. Through support from the doTERRA Healing Hands Foundation AUNZ, Friends with Dignity have awarded over 50 scholarships, impacting families across Australia.

"This scholarship meant that my children didn’t need to shoulder the worry that it was somehow their fault that I was stressed about buying their school items for them. It meant that they were able to pick the fun lunch box so they could proudly show their friends and the shoes they really wanted so they could get the fast ones. It might not have been a difference that others could see. But for all of us it was the difference between wondering if we could make it, and knowing that we could. Every time my kids light up about how fast they ran in cross country or how careful they are when they’re emptying their lunch boxes, I’m reminded of the gift of hope, and worthiness, that we received with that scholarship.
