Visually beautiful and distinctive, the pure white jasmine flower is associated with love and romance. Its aroma is complex and enchanting. Until recently, a complex process, separating the volatiles from the waxes and resins of the delicate petals, was the only way to capture its aromatic essence, creating an absolute. Steam distillation was not possible because of the delicate nature of the jasmine petals. After years of research, doTERRA has discovered a way to successfully extract the pure and natural essential oil of jasmine flowers through steam distillation. doTERRA steam distilled Jasmine essential oil is sweet, fresh and floral, exquisitely capturing the essence of the flower as it opens. Jasmine has a calming aroma and helps create an optimistic atmosphere. Added to a carrier oil, it can be a part o f a relaxing bath or a soothing massage. A main chemical component in Jasmine, benzyl benzoate, promotes healthy looking skin.

Uses

• Dilute in a carrier oil and add to a warm bath.
• Add a few drops to Fractionated Coconut Oil for a relaxing massage.
• Apply topically or add to skin or hair preparations.
