Did you know March 8 is International Women’s Day? This day means so much to our doTERRA family, and to celebrate we’d like to highlight Founding Executive and new doTERRA President Emily Wright. Watch this video to learn more about Emily, hear her advice to other women and her hopes for the future of doTERRA, and get to know her better.
Nearly two decades ago, Emily entered the essential oil world without really knowing what essential oils were. She explains, “I was actually a little embarrassed I ended up working for a network marketing company—and on top of that it was a company that sold ‘voodoo’ oils.” But her perspective shifted over time. She had two powerful experiences with essential oils that empowered her as a mother to take care of her children naturally. These experiences also made her passionate about empowering other moms.
As for network marketing, Emily says, “I’d only had negative experiences in the past, but I have since realized the person-to-person model of network marketing, when done right with integrity, actually works well when you lead with a quality product. I have found it to be the most powerful business model in the world.”
Emily never expected to be where she is now, but she says, “Life has a way of molding you and providing experiences that prepare you for the person you’re meant to become. Being part of doTERRA has made me grow beyond what I thought was possible, and I love nothing more than helping others grow and find their purpose.”
With her extensive experience and knowledge, Emily is sure to lead doTERRA to continued success. We can’t wait to see where the future takes us all!
