With Lavender and Bergamot
Enjoy some self-care with this oil-balancing face mask. It uses natural ingredients—including some favorite essential oils—to help your skin feel refreshed and rejuvenated. Soothing Lavender essential oil reduces the appearance of skin imperfections, while Bergamot essential oil provides skin-cleansing benefits.
1 tablespoon organic liquid honey
1 tablespoon sweet almond oil
2 drops Bergamot essential oil
2 drops Lavender essential oil
1 tablespoon facial clay
Filtered water (as needed)
If you’re looking to exfoliate and soften your skin, this DIY is just what you need. The sugar scrub works best when used on the feet, hands, and arms one to two times a week.
¼ cup brown sugar
¼ cup turbinado sugar
½ cup Fractionated Coconut Oil
10 drops Lime essential oil
5 drops Ginger essential oil
Note: Turbinado sugar is a large-grained sugar that helps with deep exfoliation. If you don’t have turbinado sugar, you can use all-brown sugar.
If you’re worried about the ingredients in store-bought body washes, make your own! Not only will this give you an all-natural option, but you can also customize the body wash to include your favorite aromas by using essential oils.
8-ounce glass pump bottle
½ cup unscented Castile soap
4 tablespoons vegetable glycerin
3 tablespoons Fractionated Coconut Oil
10 drops of your favorite essential oil
Recommended essential oils: For an uplifting aroma, try Citrus Bliss®, Peppermint, Grapefruit, Lime, or Eucalyptus. For a relaxing scent, try Lavender, doTERRA Serenity®, Bergamot, Geranium, or Roman Chamomile.
Note: Make sure to shake before each use, as the ingredients will separate.
