doTERRA Fractionated Coconut Oil is a natural carrier oil that readily absorbs into the skin, making it ideal for topical delivery. Its feather-light emollient effect provides a soothing barrier without clogging the body’s pores, making it an excellent moisturizer for dry or troubled skin. It leaves the skin feeling silky smooth and non-greasy, unlike other vegetable carrier oils. Fractionated Coconut Oil is completely soluble with all essential oils and is colorless, odorless, and stain-free.
Copaiba essential oil is derived from the resin of the copaiba tree, which grows over 100 feet tall in tropical South America. Copaiba is widely used in soaps, creams, lotions, and perfumes and has been an integral component in traditional Brazilian wellness practices.
Copaiba trees grow along the Amazon of Brazil. The Amazon basin experiences 80–85% humidity year-round, with an average of 90 inches of rain per year. Because of its position on the equator, the Amazon rainforest experiences 12 hours of sunlight every day. These conditions are exceptional for plant growth, and copaiba trees thrive in this climate.
Lavender is widely considered a must-have essential oil because of its versatility. It’s been used and cherished for centuries because of its unmistakable aroma and myriad of benefits. Ancient Egyptians and Romans used lavender for bathing and cooking and in perfumes.
Lavender essential oil is distilled from the freshly harvested flowering tops of the true lavender plant (also known as English lavender) from lavender farms in Bulgaria, France, and other areas of the world.
The gentle, relaxing aroma of Lavender oil is best known for promoting a peaceful environment.
Spearmint essential oil is sourced from a perennial plant that grows 11–40 inches tall and flourishes in temperate climates. It’s widely used in gums, candies, and dental products for its minty taste and to promote fresh breath.
Spearmint essential oil is different from Peppermint oil, serving as a milder option to use topically with children and those with sensitive skin. Its sweet, refreshing aroma is uplifting, making it ideal for diffusion while working or studying.
Zanthoxylum alatum—commonly known as winged prickly ash or Indian prickly ash—is a species of flowering plant in the Rutaceae family. It’s native to regions of Asia, particularly India, Nepal, and China. Parts of the plant have been used in traditional wellness practices across Asia for their beneficial properties.
The essential oil obtained from Zanthoxylum alatum is characterized by its compelling aroma, often described as citrusy, spicy, and somewhat woody. This essential oil is known for its uplifting aroma and effective topical applications.
